About us

Tyneside Jesters Ice Hockey Club was formed In the Summer of 2010 to be somewhere that welcomes everyone from new and emerging talent to those experienced and at veteran level of play.

We train and play home games out of Whitley Bay Ice Rink. Whether male or female, young or old, so long as players meet the minimum age requirements of 18+ and have a safe form on the ice they are welcome to our club.

Since its beginning the club has grown from strength to strength with us recently reaching our 10 year anniversary in 2020, although due to the pandemic our celebrations of the milestone have been put on hiatus for now.

Massive thanks to The Royal Air Force Ice Hockey Open Championship for organising and running a clean weekend of hockey and well done to every single one of these lads in the photo, from plate runners-up 3 years ago to overall champions. We’ve had an awesome few weeks of games and this is an amazing achievement.
